Corona's California variant also arrived in Pakistan
Dr. Javed Akram, a member of the Code Task Force, said that a
California variant of Corona had also arrived in Pakistan. A California variant
was found in several patients infected with Corona.
Dr. Javed Akram says that almost all vaccines are effective
against this new variant.
On the
other hand, Federal Minister Asad Omar has warned that it is important to
achieve vaccination targets to avoid the fifth wave of corona. If more people
do not get vaccinated, the corona epidemic could re-emerge.
He said
that vaccination process in Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Nowshera, Faisalabad
and Mardan needs to be further improved.
